Since February, Wyatt has not competed in any wrestling matches.
Bray Wyatt’s return to WWE might be imminent.
Due to an unexplained ailment, the 36-year-old has been out of commission since late February. However, a report from Fightful Select claims that Wyatt is “closer” to receiving a medical clearance.
Regarding Wyatt’s status and long-term health, WWE and Wyatt are apparently taking extra precautions.
Sean Ross Sapp subsequently wrote on Twitter that “after today’s update, it was explained to Fightful that the illness that Bray Wyatt is actively recovering from was both career and life-threatening.”
According to a source who spoke to Fightful about a possible schedule for Wyatt’s comeback, creative pitches have been made that would have him back on WWE programming the next month, albeit this is subject to him receiving a medical clearance.
Following a series of QR codes that were displayed on WWE television in the weeks leading up to the show, Wyatt returned to the promotion at Extreme Rules in October of last year. The codes led to a WWE website that featured a variety of images that anticipated his comeback.
Since defeating LA Knight in the Mountain Dew Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble, Wyatt hasn’t competed in any WWE programming. Since a 2/26 home show event in Rockford, Illinois, he hasn’t engaged in any wrestling at all.
