As we approach UFC 296 on December 16, all eyes are on Tony Ferguson and his upcoming fight with Paddy ‘the baddie’ Pimblett. Tony, a fighter with a great track record, has suffered a series of losses since May 2020. He is looking to turn things around with a win at the pay-per-view event later in the year.

What makes Tony stand out is how he trains. While most of the fighters go to the traditional gym, Tony built his outdoor gym in a peaceful place called Big Bear, California. He prefers to train there alone, away from the usual training facilities and teams.

Throughout his career, Tony has trained with many different groups and coaches. He even received offers from other fighters and famous gyms. Charles Oliveira, now the UFC lightweight champion, invited Tony to join his training camp. But Tony, being his independent self, did not ask for an invitation.

Tony’s decision to stick to his unique training style shows how dedicated he is to his methods. This is something that has impressed and surprised people in the mixed martial arts world.

As we get closer to UFC 296, Tony’s unconventional way of training adds extra excitement to the event. He is determined to break his losing streak by facing Paddy ‘the baddie’ Pimblett in the Octagon. Everyone will be watching to see if Tony’s unique approach can still lead to success in top-level fights.
