The third chapter of Sonic Prime will launch on Netflix on January 11, 2024, according to information released by the streaming giant. A preview of the upcoming season, this teaser video shows Sonic facing off against his longtime friend Tails with help from the mysterious Shadow.
When Sonic Prime debuted on December 15, it consisted of a 40-minute pilot and seven 20-minute episodes. The Vancouver studio of WildBrain Ltd. originally indicated that the series will consist of 24 episodes; however, the official number of episodes for the complete run has not yet been revealed.
The show is led by Man of Action Entertainment, well known for their work on Big Hero 6 and Ben 10, with production, distribution, and licensing handled by Sega and WildBrain. Viewers are still enthralled with the series even after its return on July 13.

The story takes place in an odd new multiverse and revolves around Sonic’s mission to save the universe, which he uses to further his own search for atonement and self-discovery. Notably, important parts of the plot revolve around Shadow the Hedgehog and other well-known characters from the game.
Deven Mack takes up the voice of Sonic in the series, meaning that the actors who now play Sonic in video games and films will continue to work with the character.
Notably, Man of Action Entertainment and Wild Brain Studios previously worked together on the animated series Mega Man: Fully Charged, which was based on the Mega Man (Rockman) video games.
