Nina the Starry Bride Anime Adaptation Announced

On Thursday, a website declared the upcoming television anime adaptation of Rikachi’s manga, Nina the Starry Bride (Hoshifuru Koku no Nina). To mark the news, the author created a special illustration. The video, teaser visual, and main cast were all revealed as well.

Manga to Release Second Volume

Kodansha USA Publishing has digitally published the manga, with the second compiled volume set to be released on December 26.

Plot Summary

The story follows the life of Nina, who experienced a difficult start. She was stolen from, then sold into slavery by her own brother. Fortunately, Prince Azure decides that she should take on the role of the recently deceased princess-priestess, Alisha. Even though her situation has changed, Nina is determined to hold on to her old life. This leads to a battle of wits with Azure.
