The Viper’s Return to WWE Smackdown

After the Survivor Series event, WWE Friday Night SmackDown held a show-long buildup to the announcement of which brand Randy Orton would be signing with. In the main event, Orton appeared in an in-ring segment with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, each trying to secure his services.

The Bloodline’s Decision

Paul Heyman then made his way out and informed Orton that The Bloodline would be making the decision for him. This was followed by the arrivals of Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. After Orton defeated them both, he signed the SmackDown contract and joined the blue brand. He then spoke into the microphone and said, Daddy’s back!

Conclusion

The show ended with Orton’s triumphant return to the SmackDown brand, the crowd cheering for his victory. After months of speculation, the Viper is officially back and ready to wreak havoc on the WWE.
